It's quite normal not to get any information about an event until a week or less before as most organisers like to leave final route checking quite late so riders have up-to-date and accurate information.

You'll likely get something in your inbox in the next few days but as a brand new organiser with over 200 entrants I'd imagine he's quite a lot on his hands

I have signed up for the Musselburgh RCC Tour of East Lothian event on Feb 22nd - my first one.
The route map on the AUK site is a low resolution image that is not readable - the place names are pixellated. I don't see any other links to route maps or GPS files on the site - perhaps I am overlooking something.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a route map or file?
I have emailed the organiser, but no response yet.
Thanks.

I actually reckon it's a bit quicker for me to get to Morpeth than Forfar.
Well it has a train station, for a start!

I'll have a wee think, but it looks pretty lumpy. 3 AAA points!

If you want a cracking ride on the 5 May consider heading south instead. The Chevy Chase out of Morpeth uses some lovely roads and also gives you the chance to ride through Otterburn military ranges which are only open to the public a couple of weeks a year. You can easily ride for a couple of hours up on the ranges and see no-one and it's the only audax I know where you get to cycle down the middle of a runway. I've ridden it 4 times and I actually reckon it's a bit quicker for me to get to Morpeth than Forfar.

Its much shorter, by 100km.... ;-)

Seriously, its very similar but obviously missing three of the climbs. Its very easy actually, you just keep turning left. Other than Cairn o Mount and Cairnwell its flat, well a very shallow climb up Glen Dee/Deeside. We did it in around 12 hours, and had snow, sleat, hail, cold, sun and but no rain... oh wait, aye we had rain. Other than that it starts at 8am so drivable from Edinburgh before hand so saving you sleeping over the night before, unless you really want to. The roads are dead quiet, I don't recall much traffic at all! I'm going to enter it next year.
