So, my new Brompton (you remember, the one that means I'm not getting any more Christmas or birthday presents for the foreseeable future) has got to earn its keep/justify its existence next week by taking a trip to London.

On the way back I'll be travelling on a normal train, so will fold the bike, put its cover on and take it on as hand luggage. I don't foresee any problems with this.

On the way down, though, I'll be going by sleeper. Have you any experience with taking a folding bike on the sleeper? Can I take it into my cabin?

Any advice about taking a folding bike to London by train gratefully received!
