All have happened in the past fortnight or so.</p> <p>I personally had him shout 'You might slow down pal' at me while I <em>was </em>passing slowly. This is actually the stretch of the towpath I still use now to get across the bypass. I was there around 6pm yesterday but didn't notice anything extraordinary. </p> <p>That stretch of the towpath is very popular with groups youths during school holidays. They quite often try to scare me but apart from one incident* nothing too dangerous has happened.</p> <p>* In Nov 2016 (before I joined the forum) a group of youths were throwing sheets of ice from a bridge above the towpath. They threw one at me but luckily it hit the ground right in front of my front wheel. I remember there was a cyclist right behind me and he stopped, shouted at them and asked if I was OK.
