I seem to remember Lesley Hinds seemed fairly keen on the idea (as long as Alison Johnstone didn't claim credit for it...). So perhaps worth following that up?</p> <p>Bristol has been doing a monthly Summer Streets-type event for a couple of years now. It's not marketed as a cycling thing specifically, which might help. They did a big waterslide, for instance, which was a huge hit.
