In case anyone reading this is using it as the basis for deciding whether to take the cycling plunge can I just point out that pot-holes cause nothing more than a happy little trampoline style bounce and are even more fun when hidden under a puddle when they cause a delightful shower of droplets to cool you on a warm day.
