Just had the Sora chainset swapped for a Stronglite Impact on the Cotic X and notice as I wheeled the bike out of the shop, the rear wheel / hub has play in the bearings. Later I stripped the rear down and notice that there is a grumbling / rumbling which I assume is well worn bearings?

I went on Cotic's website and found out that they ate CC Cartridge hubs. Does CC stand for Cup & Cone? Another search showed that apparently Cup & Cone may be easier to find parts for over Sealed hubs.

So whats the score? I assume I'll have no problem finding replacement bearings for the rear hub? I'm hoping so as I don't fancy another wheel build. My problem atm is the hubs have Cotic's logo on so I can't just search for the brand online.

I have asked Cotic and will prompt them later if they don't reply by email.
