In it, a rep from the Dublin Cycle Campaign said they have started an initiative to support people turning to cycling as a way to commute and remain socially distant. </p> <p>They match up experienced riders with new ones for a commute or two to help build confidence. </p> <p>Do you think we should start doing the same in Edinburgh to support key workers who need to get to work?</p> <p>I'm on full WFH mode, so could do with the exercise and feel this is a good way to use my experience to do 'my bit'. </p> <p>I was thinking of calling it #EdinburghBikeMates. </p> <p>What are your thoughts?</p> <p><em>Caveat: I'd only do this so long as the government says it's okay to cycle so long as we're practicing social distancing.</em></p> <p>Thanks,<br /> Andy </p>
