"And Bristol"

Though some people are sceptical.

So what is it saying, bigger cities have a greater length of cycle paths and more bike racks?

Groundbreaking science!

I think that tells us how poor provision is in the UK in general then, if we're 4th/7th.

Length of cyclepath seems an odd measure though. Average width of cycle-lane might be a better one (there is absolutely no way I'd use the ones in Greater Manchester for example, which are narrower than your handlebars).

According to BikeBiz and an unnamed PR company that carried out a survey for Bike Dock Solutions, it isn't York or Cambridge that has the best cycle facilities, it's London. And Bristol.

Our fair city comes in at equal 4th, or 7th, depending on how you read the run-down.
