<title>PS on "Tour of Britain 2017"</title>

<description>&#60;p&#62;Rumour has it that the Tour of Britain is going to start in Edinburgh this year (Sunday 3 Sept). &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Route to be announced at 6pm today, probably &#60;a href=&#34;http://www.tourofbritain.co.uk/&#34;&#62;here&#60;/a&#62;.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;That ties in with the deal that CEC did with BC that they would either get a stage start/finish or a Tour Series event in any given year. No Tour Series, so ToB stage start.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Cumbria County Council did a similar deal so, as there isn't a Tour Series event there this year, there should be a Lake District stage, presumably on the Monday (or Tuesday, if the Northumbrians have stumped up as well).
