The only one that was memorable was someone saying "If they spent as much on roads as they spent on cycle lanes, the roads in Edinburgh would be wonderful"</p> <p>I was minded to reply "If they spent as much on cycle lanes as they spent on roads, the cycle lanes would be wonderful". </p>
