It all sounds plausible to me. It's 484 miles and he's aiming to do it in 4 days. There's a gap between Northumberland and Scotland of 87 miles, larger than the vehicle's range.</p> <p>So I thought to myself - "<em>It's quicker by bike</em>" - and significantly cheaper! Now, where's my £5,000 subsidy please for not driving an internal combobulustion engine? </p>
