<description>&#60;p&#62;Just watching The Gadget Show. Now, putting aside the merits of watching a programme which does arbitrary testing on items of dubious value, they do often &#34;test&#34; bicycles of various types so should at lest give an impression of being keen on cycling as a positive thing.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So, tonight they do a test of 3 mobile phones, asking members of the public to swap their phone for one of the test models during a taxi ride. So far, so good.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;But then up pops the mini profile of the taxi driver, Terry: &#34;&#60;em&#62;Supports Arsenal, &#60;strong&#62;hates cyclists&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;/em&#62;&#34;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Oh dear. Now, perhaps it might be a challenge to find a London cabbie who doesn't &#34;hate cyclists&#34; but was it really necessary to put that on the screen? Shame on you, Channel 5.
