Now, putting aside the merits of watching a programme which does arbitrary testing on items of dubious value, they do often "test" bicycles of various types so should at lest give an impression of being keen on cycling as a positive thing.</p> <p>So, tonight they do a test of 3 mobile phones, asking members of the public to swap their phone for one of the test models during a taxi ride. So far, so good.</p> <p>But then up pops the mini profile of the taxi driver, Terry: "<em>Supports Arsenal, <strong>hates cyclists</strong></em>"</p> <p>Oh dear. Now, perhaps it might be a challenge to find a London cabbie who doesn't "hate cyclists" but was it really necessary to put that on the screen? Shame on you, Channel 5. </p>
