Cycling overnight from Glasgow to Dunoon in time for the sunrise, followed by a leisurely morning boat cruise back to Glasgow (the Quay by the Transport Museum).</p> <p>So far so good.</p> <p>I have the slightly mad idea of then cycling back from Glasgow, but I have no idea of how best to do it. I did the Pedal for Scotland short route last year which didn't seem too bad once out of Airdrie but not sure if I could recall the getting out of Glasgow bit and wouldn't have closed roads this time.</p> <p>So how best to exit Glasgow at 9.30am on a Sunday morning when you already have a good number of miles in your legs and only a couple of hours sleep at best?</p> <p>TVM </p>
