04th November 2013 the first frost day of the year*?

Saw the gritters out last night. No grit down on any paths I cycled but not really neccessary yet. First frost seen on the Hutchison path, pretty constant after that on the off road sections. Ice on the Broomhouse path where tramworks vehicles have spread mud onto it by driving across grass.

* not counting those earlier this year from last winter. I hesitate to say it's the first frost of the winter as it isn't winter yet.
