It was too dark to see much as I passed by but someone was lying immobile, looked like they might have had a black cycle helmet on, but I didn't see a bike; and there was a car and a small crowd of helpers by them in the middle of the street. An ambulance got there the same time as I did. Hoping for the best. The 49-year-old woman was cycling along Drumshoreland Road in Pumpherston when she was hit by a Fiat Ducto at about 1800 GMT on Sunday." Let's hope she recovers well.
