It looks like there's banks of parking between the cycle lanes and merging in and out of the cycle lanes could be really dangerous. The kerbs were being stuck down to the new road surface using a watering can full of tar! It actually looks reasonably good, but I wonder whether it would have been even quicker, cheaper and possibly more secure to use the system installed in Valleyfield Street and Glengyle Terrace, which are simply bolted into the road.</p> <p>Kind of glad no buses call at the stops on the route - as the bus stop bypass "solution" looks kind of half assed. Simply small zebra crossings over the cycle lane in front of the existing stops.
