We need about twenty in order to go ahead safely this and every year.</p> <p>The duties are pretty light;</p> <p>* Get there an hour early<br /> * Attend a briefing and put on a blue tabbard<br /> * Keep folk on the cycle path as they gather<br /> * Hand out flags and stickers<br /> * Speak nicely to people at a given crossing or junction as the parade passes by<br /> * Report anything dangerous to the police or the head marshal<br /> * Hand your blue tabbard back</p> <p>There's a real feeling of participating and enabling this great event when you marshal.
