The environmental benefits of this plan are not yet clear &amp; input is called for. #joinedupthinking #community #publicrealm #activetravel</p> <p>Spokes not been involved as yet and I may not be able to attend.</p> <p><a href="https://twitter.com/GrantonCC/status/969267887272873985">Tweet</a></p> <p>Their concern seems to be that the proposals don't match up to the <a href="https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/directory_record/416111/edinburgh_waterfront_promenade">2008 design principles for the Waterfront.</a> </p> <p>Previously someone was tweeting that it would need to be dug up when the tram comes - but it's beyond extent of current tram plans.</p> <p>It's due to have 2nd stage design, consultation and TROs done this year (2017/18).
