A lot of the roadworks involve the road being narrowed until it's just about wide enough for a car or a bus. There's no provision here for cyclists, that would be daft as this is only the city's number one quality cycle corridor, nothing important then.<br /> What I'm trying to say is AVOID this road, AVOID AVOID AVOID; if you cower at the side of the road you'll be squashed and terrified, and if you "man up" and "take your space" and all the rest of it you'll gather a queue of angry evolutionary throwbacks behind you, shouting helpful comments such as "cking road!".</p> <p>It's back to the slow quiet roads of the Grange for me, rain or no rain. </p>
