I face a pet hate on my daily commute with a car parked on the eastbound stretch of McDonald Road. The whole northern side is a straight advisory cycle lane with double-yellow line/car-dooring zone except for this stretch, where there is a single yellow line.
My guess is somebody forgot to paint the double yellow line between the bus stop and the crossing zig zag.
Of course the owner of the black Vauxhall, as in the street view, feels entitled to park there.
Appeal to reason with the driver has not lead anywhere beside insults to cyclists.
My question is where I can find plans for McDonald Road? how can I get 2.5 m of double yellow lines?
