His wife had used her jacket to support his head.</p> <p>The thief was described as being white, about 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with light brown hair.</p> <p>He had two front teeth missing, a scar on his right cheek and was wearing a dark hooded top and grey jogging bottoms with orange stripes."</p> <p>This was on Monday but at the tail end of the morning canal rush hour so there might be a cyclist who saw something. </p>
