<description>&#60;p&#62;Thought it was Ok, as folds says, does slightly assume barriers.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Can a barrier that doesn't stop you, still be a barrier, more of a snag?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;When I was up at la rosiere in the French alps recently, there was a barrier closing the road to Italy along the col de petit St. Bernard. However, we cycled round it as there was a cars width of passing place at exactly where the barrier was.  The walls of snow on either side of the road were more of a barrier. The threat of avalanche too. The 3500ft climb was not a barrier as the road is incredibly zigzagging

&#60;p&#62;Cycling accident isn't defined so I had to include the car hitting me in '96 but that might be a motoring accident.
