Our streets are in prime position for park-and-walk commuting into New Town offices and shopkeepers on Leith Walk</p> <p>Visit at 7am on a Sunday morning and you will see virtually none of the parking free for all that people identify with Leith Walk and surrounds. Transient visitors like delivery drivers and care workers have no choice but to double park because all of the slack in parking is taken up by all-day commuter parking 8am onwards.</p> <p>Heading north and east, the CPZ finishes less than 1km from Register House.</p> <p>Heading south, it extends nearly 4km all the way to Cameron toll</p> <p>Heading southeast through Bruntsfield, it ends 3km from the Caley Hotel in Morningside. </p> http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=18587#post-275305 Fri, 16 Feb 2018 13:56:57 +0000 crowriver 275305@http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/ <p>This is essentially arguing that the CPZ needs to be extended eastwards and northwards from its current boundaries.
