The chain stays were too short so his heels hit the panniers on every pedal stroke. He may have been exaggerating for comic effect though. I fitted one to a friend's bike a few days before Di died so that's 13 years ago. (no mounting points on the rear stays so I assume I would have to attach the front of a rack to the seatpost area?)</p> <p>Thanks :-) </p>
