Do they issue a new security sticker? </p> http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=15686#post-202846 Tue, 27 Oct 2015 17:11:10 +0000 Kim 202846@http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/ <p>If like me you had you bike marked at the <a href="http://www.edfoc.org.uk/events/event/spokes-bike-breakfast/">Spokes Bike Breakfast 2015</a>, you might want to take a look at the <a href="https://www.bikeregister.com/bike-checker">BikeRegister</a> database and check that it is on the database. </p> <p>I recently when to check the details only to find that my bike wasn't there. Even though I have the number the police had marked on the frame, I just couldn't find it. I phoned BikeRegister and was told that they have no record of the number, but that sometimes the police are slow are updating the database and suggested I talk to them. </p> <p>So then I contacted the police to ask about this, and after a bit of a delay the reply came back that "on checking the box we found a batch that had not been input - this has now been rectified and all details sent on."</p> <p>If your details aren't there let me know and I can pass on the details of the person to talk to. </p>
