I spotted this in an advert around the edge of the road.cc website tonight. It's a heart-shaped rear light, apparently.

http://m.banggood.com/Cycling-Night-Warning-Taillight-Bike-Rear-Light-Bicycle-Tail-Light-MTB-Bike-Rear-Light-Heart-Design-p-1058852.html

The pink version reminds me of something else, but I can't quite think what...

Would you put one on your bike?

Focus on "Blink/Steady: the world's most expensive (& unecessary) rear bike light?"

Another over-engineered product that actually reduces its worth rather than enhancing it.

£115 and you need to remove your seatpost if you want to change from flashing to constant. And really, do you need an accelerometer to switch it on? Surely that means it is on even in daylight unless there's an unmentioned on/off switch. besides, I like the choice not to fit lights when I know I won't be needing them. I'd rather not be regularly loosening and tightening a carbon frame and seatpost.

Viewing rear cycle lights from a bus or car recently, and thinking about how visible they are or more often not, as compared to other rear lights.

Some thoughts.
>single led lights are invisible
>too many with duff batteries
>more effective is a light 60mm x 60mm or circular equivalent
>Bike lights have no density of redness(don't know how else to describe)
>the ultra bright are too intense, difficult to focus on the associated bike
>vehicle lenses are better designed to throw the light out

?
