Bike leaning against wall. Not sure what had gone on, but the right turn from RR to the zigzag can be terrifying if Dalry bound vehicles cut the corner. Pure speculation though. IMO probably because it is one of the few routes north-south that avoids the city centre without going too far west. It used to be possible(+20years ago) to drive through Westfield Road and Robertson Avenue both ways. </p> <p>Is their access status contributing to the Russell road rat run? I consider as certainly possible. </p>
