Just been reading (and watching) Rob's review of the South West City Way in Glasgow. http://www.darkerside.org/2015/10/south-west-city-way-is-great-safe-segregated-infrastructure/

Despite a few flaws, it looks like GCC have managed to built a decent bit of segregated infrastructure, with clear cycle priority over sideroads, and not winding along back streets away from the desire line.

Perhaps it is time for some friendly rivalry between CEC & GCC, to see who can build the best cycle infrastructure! (We can but hope).
