I installed a Bulldog GD400 lock. Again, you need to anchor it into concrete, but it is pretty solid. Only downside is they are bright yellow,which might cause someone to think you have something in there worth nicking. On the other hand, they might just think sod that, I'll try an easier garage. If they get past that then the bikes are chained to anchor points in the wall. I've woken up to a break-in outside the front door and it's not nice.</p> <p>Depending on the solidity of the ground outside the garage and the kind of door you have, you might try a Garage Defender (do a Google search: there's a range of suppliers and qualities). They are designed for 'up and over' doors. They sit on the ground in front of the door and prevent it being opened.
