The deciding factor was whether the vehicle had any part of it on the road surface. If all four wheels are off the road, the council (claim that they) can't touch it. I rang them about a 'non-local' car that had been parked, and never moved, for months outside my stair. It was currently VEDed but the day it expired, I was about to phone again when a guy turned up with jump leads and moved it. It has been there for ages. It isn't a huge problem (parking on our street isn't too bad as these things go) but I do think it ought to have been removed by now. Does anyone know<br /> 1) how long it has to be left for the owner to do something about it<br /> and<br /> 2) who I should complain to about it still being there? </p>
