<description>&#60;p&#62;I was going to call it &#34;signs of spring&#34;, then I realised that's a couple of months premature. However, I thought it worthwhile noting that things are slowly, almost imperceptibly getting &#34;better&#34;*...&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;- For me, as of Monday I've not been wearing my rubber booties. They haven't been off since the end of November when it started to get *really* cold.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;- Also, by the time I get showered, changed and up to my desk, it's now light enough outside to not need lights.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;* = as far as the seasons are concerned, if not the driving or road surfaces
