However, I thought it worthwhile noting that things are slowly, almost imperceptibly getting "better"*...</p> <p>- For me, as of Monday I've not been wearing my rubber booties. They haven't been off since the end of November when it started to get *really* cold.</p> <p>- Also, by the time I get showered, changed and up to my desk, it's now light enough outside to not need lights.</p> <p>* = as far as the seasons are concerned, if not the driving or road surfaces </p>
