That would be something like 12 mins difference on the course, but they were never more than a minute behind. At least the Beeb report has been improved a little and there are photos. This is one of the biggest participation sports in the UK and we now have some of the world's best cyclists. The best we can hope for is highlights on ITV4 tonight. This should be live on one of the main channels.</p> <p>Even Glasgow seemed a little unprepared. Don't get me wrong, the course was great, the stewarding etc fantastic. PS and myself spent most of the time on the hardest climb of the route - surprisingly hard given that I thought Glasgow was flat. Saw lots of great riding &amp; grimaces. Great atmosphere. We also saw the end portion of the women's race - great win for Armistead. In the men's there was a gulf in class between the superstars &amp; the others. Got some photos and videos to sort through - we were very close to the riders.
