Right here, via Streetview: http://goo.gl/maps/0avP7

Of course, the realist in me reckons that it doesn't matter, because the tarmac is so cratered anyway that you can't but go slow. But the road is deceptively narrow after the line of shops.

"Hamilton Waste & Recycling Ltd are accredited to the ISO 14001 environmental management system standards and are currently undergoing steps to add the ISO 9001 quality management system to our practices."

I would've thought that ISO18001 was also relevant to a waste and recycling company. Doesn't that include a duty to avoid potential harm to people?

I presume they don't want it in the front yard, because then they'd have to find somewhere to put all the white vans :(

Excellent!
I was wondering if there was someone you could complain to about the obstruction (I assume it can't have a parking ticket because it is not a car...)

Good news: Southwest team says it's not authorised and they're sending someone over to move it...

Anyone else think this is about the worst place possible to stick a skip?

For those who don't recognize it, it's one of the Gilmore Place pinchpoints.

No sign of any 'road occupation permitted' signs. And big front yard/carpark they could have put it in.
