A Fuji Bikes Pro 8 from ChainReaction - the deal was just too damned good. Almost 50% off as it's last year's model, and Mel's dad has a new bike for his birthday. Just hope if fits...</p> <p>Lighter than the slick tyred MTBs he'd been using (which he asked me to sell), and the single chainring should help - he has a habit of mashing on the big ring, then changing down only when things get really really hard and drops the chain off. Did it on all three bikes I knew him to have.</p> <p>Anyway, the geometric tubes will be hit or miss with both, but seems really nicely built.
