They want the cachet of something cyclists will read, without putting any resources into it. it had long been seen 'as a london thing' and they have done nothing to change that. when it would have been easy for them to. Not that the "regional" new is any better off course, the chipwrapper or the hootsman and of course the bbc football news daily at 1830.
