The Council’s Active Travel Action Plan sets out a range of initiatives to make cycling safer and more practical.<br /> The plan includes improvements to the cycle route network, prioritising maintenance of cycle lanes and promoting cycling in our schools and workplaces.</p> <p>The Scottish Government has set a target for 10% of all journeys to be made by bike by 2020.
