Clearly we didn't get them all. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.</p> <p>There was a presumption that the majority of respondants would see vehicles as being of the motorised variety, (and I would have to admit that we didn't really consider bicycles as an answer to that question) so that if they had no motorised vehicles then they would then enter "None" as the answer for that question. This would then let you proceed to the next question/s. The logic in the survey requires an answer to the question about vehicles, which is why it wouldn't let you only enter a comment.</p> <p>Obviously you have tried to complete the survey. I would be very much interested to know what you think of parking in your area, even if you are in a car-free development. The more responses we receive the better we can understand what we should be doing to improve parking. I've completed it. I think there were four places where I could ask for all parking on cycle lanes to be completely banned with instant uplift of all offending vehicles, so I entered it in all four. Majority of the questions are about 'your area', and given I'm in suburbia, with a driveway, and no controlled parking... That in itself seems pretty innovative to me and worthy of at least some positive comment.</p> <p>The survey also has lots of open-ended questions, as pointed out in the original spokes tweet (qns 6,10,18, 20,21) so you have lots of opportunity to make related points. It also allows you to go back and change earlier answers if you feel later questions are more appropriate for some point.</p> <p>Having completed the survey myself I felt reasonably satisfied that I had put forward the issues that concern me most, including bike lanes which allow car parking, and excessive inner city car parking in general. Completing the survey before commenting on its details seems a good idea - it worked for me. I live outside the controlled zone, but I don't find parking there an issue.
