thanks Min, that does make me feel better.

(As always after these events, I wish I had managed to be more gracious or condescending rather than just angry)

Steveo Min were you wearing a wig whilst jogging again!

Argh, sprung!

Yup. that's her. Friend of yours?

Ha! No. But I thought it might be a teeny bit of consolation that when I saw her coming towards me as I cycled along NMW, she actually stopped and grabbed the dog. I said thank you to encourage the good behaviour (I always do anyway). Plus I thought diving on her screaming "You hurt my bike forum pal!!" might be out of order, especially if it turned out not to be her after all. ;-)

I only went the long-way round because my mudguard's a bit wobbly at the moment and doesn't want too many potholes/bumps.

At least you had us to commiserate with afterwards!

Hope the grass-stains come off.

See you about!

Ouch SRD! Even if she thought it was nothing to do with her would it have been such an inconvenience to check you were ok...

You should have got her details and billed her, dog owners are liable for the actions of their hounds, if said dog has damaged a motor you can be sure the insurance company would be after her.

Was she dressed all in black with a black head-thing on and blonde hair and the dog was mostly white perchance?

Min were you wearing a wig whilst jogging again!

Yes, I should have gone around by Melville Drive like lionfishy did, but I was having a lovely cycle on the meadows (well away from pedestrians), when dog ran in front of me. I went down. Jogger looked at me, called to the dog and kept going.

I jumped back on bike. Chased jogger who said 'I saw you on the ground but didn't realize it had anything to do with my dog' and then 'I'm a cyclist too.' And then got nasty with me when I protested that she might have stopped to see if I was okay, and that the fall had ruined my new trousers.

Now feeling rather stiff and sore too.
