Thanks for the idea, minimoth and I visited the area a bit, but it seems that we usually press on Northwards, maybe we'll have to visit again this summer...</p> <p>PS Cakes+cafe is a vital feature of any bike route, so that sounds promising :) </p> http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=10338#post-112691 Sun, 02 Jun 2013 21:18:49 +0000 cb.pola 112691@http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/ <p>Campervan parked at Cobeland, 3km south of Aberfoyle.</p> <p>Saturday, cycled to Aberfoyle then round Loch Ard south side to The Wee Blether cafe at Kinlochard (highly recommended - very cycle friendly, excellent cakes and coffees), then back via same route. c 35km</p> <p>Today, drove to Loch Katrine, took boat trip to Stronachlachar, then cycled back to van. c25km.</p> <p>Fantastic time. Some <a href="http://bit.ly/ZmRwng">not bad pics</a>.</p> <p>And yes, this was on my MTB, not my electric hybrid! I'm almost beginning to feel like I can call myself a cyclist. </p>
