It was very busy as usual with traffic and people. There was a cyclist killed in Aberdeen a while back, the description of whom matched my brother perfectly, and I couldn't get him on his phone. Slim chance but it makes you think. Its awful loosing someone.</p> <p>Its not nice when someone dies locally and worst still if someone close to you dies. Unfortunately it happens and we come to terms with this eventually, in our own way.</p> <p>I have just developed a certain outlook on life having lost a few close freinds preamturely in the last ~13 years. There is absolutely no point in doing it, but I do it all the same. When a chap on a bike was killed just outside Dalkeith when I lived out that way I took an alternative longer and hiller route for about a month afterwards.
