Sounds like an idea. I'm in negotiations with the Laidback bicycle emporium about my trailer and what size it needs to be.

A slight alternative to this idea might be just to trailer up, carry some boxes / rubble sacks / brooms / secataurs / handsaws and just do a tour of the paths one afternoon clearing them up, removing fly-tip, cutting back overgrowth, sweeping up glass?

You could even find a pallet in a skip somewhere, convert it into a trailer and then add bounty to it.

Bringing this to mind, for some reason:

Inspired by kaputnik's recent interest in a trailer, and since one of the problems of the Washing Machine Challenge is that we need to source knackered washing machines, how about...

...we get our intrepid teams of competing-cargo-bike-type to start off unladen from some central Scandinavian coffee vendor and go out in search of the weirdest and most wonderful things flytipped around the city, then regroup at Seafield/Sighthill to have this bounty judged, and then dispose of it in a painfully eco-vegan muesli-knitting fashion?
