If you travel to Manchester (rail or air) there is a convenient hire unit at Piccadilly Station, and for Heathrow the unit at Ealing Broadway is convenient for picking up a bike on the way in to London. If travelling down the East Coast, there is a unit at Peterborough Station, hop off, collect bike and catch next train to London. GSK and University of Greenwich have installed 'private' systems for staff/student use, and Whittington Hospital is first NHS site. For Greenwich the Bromptons offer a higher, and more flexible level of service then the inter-site buses (and bus?-train-bus? for Chatham campus)and potentially cheaper than trying to deliver high frequency bus services. Potential for some Edinburgh campus sites?
