&#60;p&#62;How about?:&#60;br /&#62;
Off the esplade, through Princes St gardens, cut through the West End to the Water of Leith.  Up river to Balgreen, then the Balgreen &#38;gt; Corstorphine path.&#60;br /&#62;
Up Corstorphone Hill from the south (NOTE: currently shut and guarded by the police).  Exit north to D'Mains park, through the woods to Barnton, then down to the River Almond.
