And obviously there are gaps in the segregation at side roads, so they nip in there as well. The cycle tracks are just wide enough for a car. This happens even on stretches of the route where there are designated car parking places on the other side of the street - i.e. almost all of it. Sheer laziness and selfishness. The cycle tracks have been open for a while - there are even cycle-specific traffic lights at the junctions, which is nice.</p> <p>Unfortunately, the cycle tracks are frequently obstructed by drivers, who feel entitled to dump their vehicles wherever they like, and this inevitably results in you having to dismount and walk around them. Some of the bollards that used to line the cycle tracks are gone already because drivers have crashed into them. Requests for intervention by traffic wardens are met with complete indifference.
