This forum could run an Ed-ax. Post the route, go out together etc. would not be official.

Have one tht is a reworking of druidh's col du climpy.

Starts in Balerno, goes to Broxburn, then Bo'ness then over to Linlithgow then up to Bathgate, torphicen, Westfield, over the top to blackridge, then harthill then over the next top to fauldhouse then over the next top through climpy and up to Braehead then down to Carnwath then back to Balerno. Not massively long but quite a lot of climbing

To organise an audax you have to be an Audax UK member. There's also an application process before you're accepted as an organiser where they consider your experience as a rider/helper and what back up you'll receive from club, organisation, etc.

It's a strange hankering I've had for a while. A 50 mile 'Roond aboot Reekie' ride, and I might be trying the route one early morning next weekend. Whether I'd actually get my backside in gear to put it on the diary next year or not I don't know...
