She said:</p> <p>“The drop-in events are specifically aimed at testing ideas for Glentress Forest and how people would like us to develop it for years to come.</p> <p>“We’ve had brilliant feedback to date on how people would like to see recreation in the Tweed Valley progress. Now we want to focus purely on Glentress and what it could offer.</p> <p>“Please come in and speak to us at the Glentress café and tell us what you would like to see happen.”</p> <p>Glentress is famous for being the flagship 7stanes mountain bike centre, boasting world-class trails. The forest is also very popular with walkers and numerous way-marked routes give stunning scenery.</p> <p>The long-term goal at Glentress Forest is to move to a more self-supporting status where income streams at the popular woodland break even.</p> <p>Notes to news editors</p> <p>1.
