Welcome Ray. I don't think it matters what you ride as long as <strike>you do</strike> it's fun. Shouldn't be problem to find such a thing at LB.

Welcome to the forum. Peter's Yard (or Zazou barge) pre-work catch ups seem to be the main event that the CCE forumers agree on. At the other extreme are those that ride together on more demanding events like 300k Audaxes.
Some go to both and everyone likes a decent coffee, tea and cake!
Edinburgh now has quite a few rides to appeal to all levels from the 20 milers up to longer and faster offerings. Trikes are and always will be niche but in the end we're all going places under our own power so have lots in common.
Will see you tomorrow to show you some options... The Pastures Cafe is nice to have close by too!

Hallo. The trikes are significantly faster and healthier than the couch, but only marginally less comfortable.

Sounds like you haven't visited LB yet.

Hi Peeps,

Really chuffed to have found this forum, as an ageing almost devoured by the couch male I decided a while back to get some exercise in my life. I have decided a Trike is the way to go for me :-) and am in the process of choosing between a HP Scorpion FS an ICE FS adventurer or finally an ICE FS Sprint.

I am heading to Laid Back tomorrow afternoon to meet with David to have a look at the ICE trikes he has in stock.

Anyhoo looking forward to getting to know you all on the forum and maybe even meeting up on a ride on two later in the year.

Ray
