I'm sure we'll first be branded as eco terrorists and then subjected to a lengthy explanation of why preventing parking on MD will immediately lead to an economic apocalypse and the sky falling in etc etc. You know just like all the other cycling infrastructure caused.

&#60;p&#62;The initial response of Seattle's version of CEC was amusingly similar to what might be offered as an excuse here - that the height of the bollards could somehow represent a greater risk than the traffic!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Still, what a result - and clearly, again, something which is massively cheaper and hugely more effective than, erm... paint.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Does Mr Orr still peruse these pages?
