Chap on WoL path sped past me but did not observe the dog walker, I think not new to cycling but new to the route. With the gormless dog walker comes the gormless dog. Black lab shot out of thicket aimed straight at him, high speed swerve, no harm done, dog walker thought it funny. At canal guy went down the Tarmac instead of dirt track hence me thinking his first day of commuting on this route.

At work chatting to young woman on heritage bike, I asked what it was like, she said quite sturdy, she had already crashed it and it just had a little bend in the handlebars, she was undaunted.

On way home guy with flat tyre on electric bike with motor in front hub? Lent him my pump and opined that might be possible to repair without taking wheel off.
